On occasion we work in Copper to make custom pieces – but here is a good example of why we work almost exclusively in Anodized Aluminum… The piece in blue and silver is Anodized Aluminum, with a magnetic clasp. It weights 3 ounces and sells for $120.00. in contrast, the second piece -exactly the same pattern – in Copper and Enameled Copper, clocks in at a whopping 10 ounces, at a sell price of $220.00 and has to be finished with a toggle because no magnet will hold!
